Please follow the post-treatment care instructions to see the best results.
Do:
- Stay Upright: Remain upright for at least 4 hours after the procedure. Avoid lying down to prevent the Botox from spreading to unintended areas.
- Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated and support the healing process.
- Avoid Heat: After treatment, avoid excessive heat such as saunas, hot tubs, or hot yoga for 24–48 hours to prevent dilating blood vessels and spreading the Botox.
- Avoid Makeup (for a few hours): It’s a good idea to avoid applying makeup immediately after Botox. Wait for a few hours to prevent any irritation or infection.
Don’t:
- Don’t Massage the Treated Area: Avoid massaging or rubbing the treated area unless instructed by your doctor. This can cause Botox to move to unintended muscles.
- Don’t Exercise Strenuously: Avoid vigorous exercise for at least 24 hours after Botox injections to prevent increased blood flow that could spread the Botox.
- Don’t Take Blood Thinners: Avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners for at least 24 hours to reduce the risk of bruising.
- Don’t Drink Alcohol: Avoid alcohol for 24 hours, as it can increase the risk of bruising and swelling.
- Don’t Expose to Sun: Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning beds for a few days to avoid irritation or discomfort in the treated areas.
- Don’t Expect Immediate Results: Botox results may take up to 2 weeks to fully settle, so don’t worry if you notice some minor asymmetry initially.
